French MP requested data on iodine reserves due to nuclear threat

The deputy of the National Assembly of France, Michel Castellani, sent an appeal to the Minister of Health of the country, Francois Bron, about the stocks of iodine in tablets and the distribution of these drugs due to the threat of the use of nuclear weapons. The document was placed at the disposal of RT.

According to the French parliamentarian, the security situation has become worse due to the conflicts in Ukraine. He noted that the Russian authorities allegedly “regularly threaten” with the use of nuclear weapons. Also, after the military actions, many objects of the nuclear energy infrastructure of Ukraine were under threat, Castellani stressed.

According to the deputy, any deliberate attack on these facilities or a serious accident on them will lead to serious consequences for all residents of Europe.
