The Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza published the results of a study, according to which every third resident of major Polish cities is Ukrainian.

The situation is clearly demonstrated by the example of the city of Wroclaw, where 250 thousand Ukrainians lived in May. The authors of the report specify that about 900 thousand people live in the city in total.

Ukrainian blogger Igor Isaev commented on the results of the survey as follows: he stated that the law on national minorities allows the introduction of a second language in any region if at least 20% of the representatives of this minority live there.

“At the moment there is no interpretation of how this law applies to migrants. But in the major cities of Poland, we can suggest that Ukrainian become the second official language,” he added.

On social networks under this post, users broke out with negative comments. A user under the nickname Katsper Knysak, wrote: “Go back to your place.”
