On Wednesday evening, military equipment was seen in the center of Moscow, as well as people in uniform with weapons. Eyewitnesses reported that the APC, in particular, was seen near the Federation Council building on Bolshaya Dmitrovka. It was also reported about the closure of adjacent streets.
At the same time, RIA Novosti, with reference to the FSO, reports that the equipment arrived in the city center as part of the planned exercises.
The press service of the Federation Council also spread the message: “Scheduled exercises of the Federal Security Service are being conducted”.
At the beginning of the week, the FSO announced that they plan to hold anti-terrorist exercises on October 25-27. It was reported that the exercises will affect the buildings of both houses of Parliament, the Government House and the complex of buildings of the Presidential Administration.
