Twitter owner Elon Musk fulfilled his promise and disclosed information about the attempts of the previous leadership of the social network to hush up the scandal with the son of the US president Hunter Biden. He reposted the investigation of journalist Matt Taibby.
According to the correspondent, the social network has deleted all links related to the story of Biden Jr.’s stolen laptop. At the same time, the direct transmission of information on this topic through messages was blocked. Taibbi noted that such tools are used only in extreme cases – for example, in relation to child pornography.
Earlier, Republicans from the House of Representatives promised to investigate the business ties of the US president. They were first talked about in October 2020 after a series of publications in the New York Post. The publication stated that they had access to the correspondence, which was allegedly found in Hunter Biden’s laptop.
The personal computer itself was found in one of the repair services in Delaware. Its owner copied the laptop’s hard drive and gave a copy to the ex-mayor of New York and Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani. Later, the Daily Mail wrote that the photos from the laptop are possible proof of the ties of the son of the US president with representatives of drug trafficking.
