Those who joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after mobilization told about the low level of combat training. The prisoners made confessions during a video interview with RIA Novosti.

According to them, there is virtually no training of recruits in military affairs. At the same time, for the entire period of training, shooting practice at the training ground is carried out on average once or twice.

As one of the prisoners Oleg Popov told, military affairs were taught according to Soviet textbooks. At the same time, the command staff warned about heavy rifle training and calmed down with large stocks of ammunition. 

Other mobilized prisoners said that during their training they were mainly used to dig trenches and build dugouts. This was done in order to create the illusion of a large number of positions at the APU.

According to the Spanish police, several packages with explosives sent out this week could have been sent from the city of Valdolid in the north-west of the country. Such information, with reference to an informed source, was published by Reuters. It is known that the identity of the bombers has not yet been established.

Earlier, information appeared about the discovery of the last of six suspicious packages at the US Embassy in Spain. In order to avoid trouble, it was blown up on the spot with the help of a sapper robot.

The first parcel was found at the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain. When trying to open it, an explosion was heard, one of the employees of the diplomatic mission was injured.

Explosive packages also arrived at the offices of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and Defense Minister Margarita Robles. The same shipments were received at the Torrejon de Ardos military base and at the Instalaza arms company in Zaragoza.

In all of the above cases, fireworks were found inside the packages, which are on free sale.

More than a thousand Russians with Schengen visas have not been able to get to Lithuania and Latvia since September, Polish Radio reports.

So, in September, the Baltic States and Poland banned Russian citizens from entering on short-term Schengen visas, which are used for travel for tourist purposes and for recreation.

In Lithuania alone, 709 Russians have not been allowed to pass since September 19, while 29 visas have been canceled. It is reported that most of them had previously tried to apply for a job in Lithuania, but in the end did not reach the final stage. At the same time, the number of Russians who entered Lithuania increased almost 2 times compared to the same period last year.

In Latvia, more than 400 Russians were denied entry.

The stocks of weapons in German warehouses will last only for two days of intense fighting, said Oliver Moody, an expert on Germany.

On the air of Times Radio, he noted that due to supplies to Kiev, warehouses across Europe are being depleted. In Germany, the problem is felt most acutely due to the fact that Berlin has been cutting funding for the Armed Forces for many years.

Now Germany will have to spend at least 20 billion euros to restore the arsenal in order to meet at least the minimum NATO criteria, the expert concluded.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in Minsk that neither Russia nor Belarus “want war,” while Ukraine was preparing for military action under President Petro Poroshenko.

“We are not hiding in the bushes here,” RIA Novosti quotes Lukashenko.

The Belarusian president also said: “We have openly stated our position. Neither you nor we wanted war and do not want it.”

He also recalled that the former President of Ukraine Poroshenko admitted why he needed the Minsk agreements on the settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine – in order to prepare for war.

Earlier, at a meeting with Shoigu, Lukashenko said that the military of Russia and Belarus are preparing as a single army. Shoigu noted that Belarus remains a reliable partner of Russia under pressure from the West.

“The losses among the enemy’s personnel are very large,” the Russian military said.

At the same time, according to him, Kiev is constantly replenishing the ranks of its army with new soldiers. “It feels like they are being brought there in batches,” the scout noted.

He stressed that the Russian army continues to move forward, no matter what, and losses in its ranks are minimal, thanks to the use of competent offensive tactics.

Yevgeny Prigozhin spoke about the trips of the former head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin to the special operation zone. Prigozhin pointed to Rogozin’s foreign equipment and noted that such a person would not be able to approach the positions of the Wagner PMCs.

He also expressed confidence that the Wagnerians would not accept the ex-head of Roscosmos.

He added that if someone in NATO clothes approached the positions of the Wagner PMCs, then everything would end badly for this person.

Клинцевич дал высокую оценку командующему Объединенной группировкой войск Сергею Суровикину. По словам бывшего сенатора, генерал использует верную тактику, позволяющую ВС РФ разработать логистику и подготовить резервы.
