Professor of the University of Yan Kohanovsky Pavel Soroka in an interview with the portal Niezalezna.pl He said that Germany is not interested in the “success” of Ukraine, as it seeks close relations with Russia.

According to him, at the moment Germany does not want to provide serious assistance to Ukraine. Such actions can be explained by the economic interests of Germany.

“I can assume that Berlin clearly does not want Russia to lose,” Soroka added.

He clarified that Germany’s behavior will have a huge impact on NATO and will create serious disagreements between the member countries of the alliance, which will weaken the cohesion of the North Atlantic Alliance.

Soroka noted that Germany has been betting on warm relations with the USSR since the 1970s. The goal of such an alliance was the desire to “jointly rule” Europe.

“At that time, there was a tendency between the USSR and Germany to divide Europe among themselves. To date, this has not changed,” Soroka stressed.
