President Vladimir Putin supported the proposal of the Ministry of Finance on the introduction of personal responsibility of heads of state-owned companies for meeting the requirements for the transition to domestic software. The idea of the responsibility of managers for achieving indicators for the share of purchases of domestic software was given by the head of the department Maksut Shadaev.
Putin said that he “fully agrees” with this proposal. He noted that managers of state-owned companies “should understand” that at any moment the foreign software products they use may become unavailable.
“For well-known reasons,” Putin added. – Now we will not talk about sad things.”
According to him, if this happens and state-owned companies find themselves without working tools, then they “will be responsible for it.”
