On the air of TV channels in the Far East, a New Year’s televised address by Russian President Vladimir Putin was shown.
The Russian leader said that everyone is united by hopes for the upcoming changes.
“We have faced challenges, but we have learned to fight,” the head of state noted.
Vladimir Putin stressed that in the past year Russia has firmly and consistently defended the interests of the country and Russians in the security sphere.
“The main goal of the authorities is to increase the welfare and income of Russians,” the head of state also assured.
In addition, Putin expressed words of support to all those who lost relatives and friends due to the pandemic.
Separately, the President congratulated on the holiday everyone who meets the coming year at the “combat post”: doctors, military and law enforcement officers.
