The commander of the air defense unit based in the Zaporozhye direction, said that the Russian Armed Forces have received new software that makes it easy to shoot down the missiles of the American MLRS HIMARS.
The source explained that at the initial stage, the military did not understand what kind of weapons they were. But now they have started working on it “freely”.
“They flashed us a new program, and HIMARS is now like normal targets. We freely see, observe and destroy without problems,” said the commander of the air defense unit.
Earlier, the commander of the air defense unit with the call sign Rapier reported that in a month his subordinates shot down four HIMARS missiles and five drones in the Zaporozhye direction.
