The inconspicuous B-21 Raider strategic bomber, which will be unveiled on December 2, will be the first sixth-generation system in the US Air Force (Air Force). This aircraft was developed by the American company Northrop Grumman. This is reported by Defense News.
Tom Jones, President of the aviation systems division of the American company, stressed that the B-21 Raider is classified as a sixth-generation aircraft due to its low-visibility technology, the use of an open architecture, as well as technologies of a unified management system for all domains.
According to Jones, over the next few months, the strategic bomber will undergo additional tests in preparation for the first flight, planned for next year.
