The Ministry of Defense of Russia has published a video about the awarding of awards to Russian servicemen in the Red Estuary.
The ministry noted that the awards were awarded “for the courage and heroism shown during the liberation of the Red Estuary”.
The awards were presented by the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin.
Among those awarded the Order of Courage, as well as medals “For Services to the Fatherland” and “For military distinctions” -commandos, tankers, motorized infantry.
Lapin, presenting awards and addressing soldiers, sergeants and officers, called them “the best sons of the Fatherland” and thanked them for “honest performance of military duty “.
