The Ministry of Justice of the DPR stated that today 2.3 thousand prisoners from the Mariupol plant “Azovstal” are being held on the territory of the republic.
The head of the department, Yuriy Sirovatko, noted that local laws provide for the death penalty for crimes of which prisoners are accused.
“For such crimes in our DPR, the capital punishment is the death penalty,” Sirovatko said.
He added that “the court will decide on them”.
Earlier, the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin stated that an “international tribunal” is being prepared for prisoners on the territory of the republic.
