The head of the Kharkiv region announced an attempt to dislodge the APU from the suburbs of Balakleya

The head of the administration of the Kharkiv region, Vitaly Ganchev, said that there is a difficult humanitarian situation in Balakleya now. According to him, the forces of the Russian coalition are now trying to dislodge the AFU militants from the city, fierce fighting is underway.

“Balakleya, in fact, is not controlled by us. There are attempts to dislodge the Ukrainian forces, but there are fierce battles, and our troops are being held back on the approaches,” Ganchev said.

He added that the situation near Shevchenko remains difficult. In that area, the APU is trying to break through the defense, but the reserves pulled up from Russia are repulsing them. Ganchev also complained that Kiev is concerned about a “beautiful picture” for the West about an imaginary victory.

Earlier, the head of the Kupyansky district CAA Maxim Gubin said that the situation around the city is difficult. Sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attempted to get into the area, but none of them was successful.
