Latvian Defense Minister Artis Pabriks said that the TV channel “Rain” (recognized by the Ministry of Justice as a foreign media agent), whose editorial office is located in this country, should go back to Russia. He wrote about it on Twitter.
“The cup of our patience is overflowing,” he said.
The Minister also proposed to cancel the residence permit for the editorial staff. The channel was previously fined for being called “our army” on the air of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and for showing a map of Russia with Crimea.
Recall that today it became known that the channel fired its host Alexey Korostelev. The journalist had previously stated on the air about helping the Russian military that the channel helped solve the problems of the mobilized. The presenter was fired today.
