The press service of the Anti-Corruption Agency of Kazakhstan reported that the country’s authorities will return $ 300 million to the republic’s budget in the near future.
It is clarified that these funds were previously illegally exported from Kazakhstan by the nephews of the former president of the republic of Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kairat Satybaldyuly.
During the investigation, jewelry and precious stones were identified and returned, the value of which exceeded $ 230 million.
Among other things, according to the investigative authorities, Nazarbayev’s nephew invested about 300 million US dollars in foreign securities.
Earlier, the anti-corruption service of Kazakhstan told about the detention of the heads of various companies that are associated with Kairat Satybaldyuly.
