The author of the YouTube channel “Til Maydani” Kuat Akhmetov, who caused a great resonance by conducting language raids on the territory of Kazakhstan, in which he filmed the apologies of Russian-speaking residents and posted them on the Network, left the country and disappeared in Georgia, fearing criminal prosecution, Readovka reports. Now he is most likely in Tbilisi.

It is noted that Akhmetov left Kazakhstan by plane on Monday night. His last video on the channel is an interview with the famous Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk, and in it Akhmetov was still in Kazakhstan. It is emphasized that a criminal case has been initiated against Akhmetov at home under Article 174 “Incitement of discord”.

Earlier in August, the police detained Akhmetov. But he stayed in the department for only an hour, after which he was released and ordered to pay a fine of 145 thousand tenge (25 thousand Russian rubles). At the same time, the nationalist announced that he needed the help of subscribers to pay the fine.

Recall that one of the most resonant videos was the apology of the doctor Emilia Grechanik from Aktau for speaking in Russian. It turned out that she was initially called by an associate of Akhmetov, and the nationalist himself later threatened the woman, promising to transfer to the prosecutor’s office a recording of the call where she speaks Russian.
