The Telegram channel of the opposition Belarusian politician Maria Kolesnikova named the reason why she was hospitalized on November 28. As it turned out, she was brought to the hospital with a surgical pathology.
She underwent surgery on Monday. At the moment, she is in a stable serious condition with improvement. Already on November 30, she should be transferred to the surgical department.
Earlier it was reported that opposition activist Maria Kolesnikova was in intensive care in Belarus. She was taken to the emergency hospital in Gomel.
Maria Kolesnikova was sentenced by the court to 11 years in prison. The politician was a member of the presidium of the Coordinating Council of the Belarusian opposition and the election headquarters of ex-presidential candidate Babariko. She was accused of conspiracy to seize power, as well as calls to seize power and create an extremist organization. The activist did not admit guilt.
