Cooperation with NATO is not very in the interests of the UN, said Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov.
“There are serious and well-founded doubts that deep cooperation with NATO corresponds to the interests of the UN. The essence of these two organizations is significantly different. It is enough to recall the aggression of NATO against the former Yugoslavia, ” he wrote on his Twitter page.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia will not join NATO.
