In connection with the attack of an unknown criminal on the building of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Canada, the diplomatic mission hopes to investigate the incident and strengthen security measures. This was stated by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Canada Oleg Stepanov.
According to Stepanov, embassy staff handed over the video recordings of cameras to the Canadian police. The embassy expects a thorough and objective investigation with the detention of the criminal.
The Ambassador also noted that he hopes for the relevant conclusions of the Canadian law enforcement system after the incident. The necessary solution will be to strengthen measures to ensure the security of Russian diplomatic missions in the country.
