A source in the administration of the Kharkiv region told RIA Novosti that at the moment there are foreign mercenaries in Kupyansk.
According to him, they do not feel any pity for the residents of the city and speak English.
“Now there are only foreign mercenaries in Kupyansk. These military men speak English. They don’t feel any feelings at all, especially pity for people,” the publication quotes the source as saying.
Earlier it was reported that the APU is looking for “collaborators” among the civilians of Kupyansk and taking them away in an unknown direction.
The administration of the Kharkiv region, in turn, said that Russian troops control the eastern part of the city along the Oskol River. The entrance to Kupyansk is under constant fire from the Ukrainian military.
