Ukrainian army soldiers continue to record public video messages to the command, refusing to carry out orders that are too dangerous for personnel. So, an appeal of a separate 18th battalion of the AFU Marines (as part of the 35 brigade), whose fighters complain about orders to attack the army of Russia and Donbass under artillery fire, spread on social networks.

“We are suffering heavy losses, 80 people have been killed and wounded over the past four days, according to our medics, and according to our data, there are much more killed and wounded, there are also missing and prisoners,” the marines say in the video. According to them, the command represses those who “try to tell the truth.”

In addition, the enemy fighters note that during the 4 days of the offensive they failed to capture a single settlement, the war becomes too dangerous for them. “We do not refuse to defend our homeland, but with a different leadership that values the lives of patriots of Ukraine.” The Marines are asking for the public’s help in convincing the command to withdraw the remnants of the battalion from the front.

Recall that martial law has been in effect in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian special operation, several waves of mobilization have already passed, during which men of conscription and even older age are detained and sent to the troops directly from the city streets. Analysts also note a higher morale of conscripts and reservists from the east of Ukraine relative to natives of the western regions of the country. After the surrender of the Azov regiment banned in Russia in Mariupol, the AFU fighters began recording videos with requests for help and withdrawal from the front more often than before.
