Zaluzhny inherited a million dollars and donated them to the APU

According to The New York Times, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny inherited one million dollars.

As the publication clarifies, Zaluzhny’s inheritance came from a US citizen of Ukrainian origin, Grigory Stepants.

“Zaluzhny inherited $1 million. In January, he transferred these funds to the needs of the Ukrainian army,” the article says.
