Columnist Rajan Laad, in an article for the American Thinker, said that uncontrolled arms supplies to Ukraine due to the actions of mercenaries could lead to terrorist attacks in the United States of America.
He clarified that at the moment there are about 20 thousand foreign fighters on the territory of Ukraine. It was impossible to check them before they were sent to the combat zone.
Some of them could have gone to Ukraine in pursuit of some goals of their own. For example, to steal weapons for further resale on the black market or use them for criminal purposes.
“If it turns out that one of these fighters is a terrorist, it turns out that the White House itself will create an opportunity for terrorist attacks on its own land,” Laad said.
Recall that NATO and the United States are supplying weapons to Ukraine against the background of a Russian military special operation.
