The level of American confidence in their armed forces has shockingly decreased. Over the past four years, it has fallen from 70 percent to 48 percent. This is reported by Fox News.
According to the channel’s presenter, the Pentagon has great difficulties with recruiting people, and one of the reasons is that many Americans have lost faith in the military. The alarming trend was confirmed by the results of the Ronald Reagan Institute survey.
62% of respondents noted that confidence in the army has decreased due to the excessively politicized leadership of the armed forces. At the same time, only six percent said they wanted to serve.
Earlier, a publication appeared in one of the publications about the increase in the number of recruits in the US army suffering from obesity. Less than a quarter of conscripts meet all army requirements.
