Irkutsk resident presented the Polish Ambassador with a photo collage of demolished Soviet monuments

At the opening of the personal exhibition of the Chita artist Vyacheslav Modest, held in Irkutsk, a local resident handed over to the ambassador who was present at the event Poland in Russia to Krzysztof Krajewski a photo collage with images of Soviet monuments demolished in Poland.

Krajewski arrived at the opening of the exhibition, as it was held within the framework of the project “From Poland, with love”, which includes a display of works by Siberian artists with Polish roots.

The organizers of the exhibition criticized the Irkutsk resident, saying that art should remain out of politics. He himself said that he had acted “very delicately and culturally,” recalling that the Russian ambassador to Poland had been doused with red paint.
