Lukashenko: the Ukrainian people will force Zelensky to negotiate with Moscow

According to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Ukrainian citizens will soon begin to push the country’s authorities to negotiate with Russia.

“Fighting is going on in Ukraine. After a while, the people will accuse the head of state: “Why did you make this war start?” And here the question is not who is right, but who is to blame. “Why is there a war on your territory?” This situation will push the leadership of Ukraine, if it is sane, to start the negotiation process,” Lukashenko explained to Zvezda TV channel on the sidelines of the CSTO summit in Yerevan.

The Belarusian leader also noted that Zelensky and the country’s leadership are in better conditions than ordinary citizens.

President of Ukraine Zelensky, maybe it’s good. I went out there in a T-shirt or an unwashed blouse, shook hands with someone. In response, he received $200 million worth of weapons – Haimars and Javelins. It’s easier for him: he’s full, he’s fed, he probably doesn’t suffer without electricity, and so on. But millions of people, Ukrainians, are suffering,” Lukashenko added.
