The Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, commented on the results of an emergency meeting of the Security Council of the world organization, convened by the United States and Albania.
“The meeting of the UN Security Council, held on the initiative of the United States and Albania, represents a new milestone in the disinformation campaign unleashed by Kiev and the West,” he said.
The diplomat’s indignation was caused by Washington’s unsubstantiated accusations that Moscow is allegedly creating “filtration camps” in Ukraine. He added that the Russian side intends to request a new UN Security Council meeting on September 8 on the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine.
