The West’s assistance to the Ukrainian regime in killing civilians will not be forgotten by the peoples of Russia and Ukraine, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

According to him, the supply of weapons to Kiev, especially long-range artillery and multiple rocket launchers, only moves even further to the west that conventional line, which in the future will be necessary for the peaceful development of the liberated areas.

“I would like to address our Western colleagues… Believe me, your willingness to help Ukrainians kill Donetsk and Lugansk children is unlikely to be forgotten by both the Ukrainian and Russian people,” he said.

Polyansky urged the West to think about the fact that after the end of the special military operation in Ukraine, in any case, it will have to be neighbors and cooperate with Russia.

According to the woman, a man in civilian clothes approached her husband at the airport and handed him a ready-made form. It remained only to enter the name, surname and passport data. The text on the paper was in Russian and English. The man could not refuse. Otherwise, he was threatened with annulment of his residence permit.

Recall that the idea of banning the issuance of Schengen visas to Russians is currently being actively discussed in Europe. The European Commission has ruled out such a decision for the entire EU. However, individual countries can make a decision locally.

The channel’s message says that, in addition to Viktor Bout, Moscow wants to exchange Vadim Krasikov, who was sentenced to life on charges of murdering Zelimkhan Khangoshvili, a former field commander during the Chechen War, in Berlin in 2019. German investigators claimed that Krasikov allegedly received a task to kill a former militant from the state departments of the Russian Federation.

According to CNN, Washington considered Moscow’s request for Krasikov’s exchange “problematic”, including because he remains in custody in Germany.

Telephone talks were held between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. This was their first face-to-face conversation since February 24, 2022.

The press service of the State Department reports that the parties discussed the exchange of Paul Whelan and Brittney Griner, as well as the export of Ukrainian grain from the Black Sea ports. In addition, Blinken threatened Russia with new sanctions if new “Ukrainian territories” become part of it.

Earlier, Lavrov said that a telephone conversation with Blinken should take place when he himself would be “in his office.” At the same time, he added that it is unlikely that the call will take place on Friday.

Prior to that, the official representative of the US State Department, Ned Price, said that Washington had requested a conversation between Blinken and Lavrov. Moscow has confirmed receipt of the request.

Meanwhile, the DPR began to create a commission to prepare for a referendum on joining the Russian Federation. There, the plebiscite procedure will take place simultaneously with the LPR.

In addition, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that according to preliminary data, a referendum on the status of the region may take place in the first half of September. He clarified that it is quite possible that the referendums in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will be held synchronously, on the same day.

The former commander of the nationalist Azov regiment, recognized as extremist and banned in Russia, Andrei Biletsky, announced a hunt for everyone involved in the missile strike on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka. It is located in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Captured soldiers of the unit were kept there.

In his Telegram channel, Biletsky called the incident a planned act, as well as a violation of customs and laws of war. He also promised to find and eliminate the perpetrators.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Ukrainian military fired at a prison in the urban-type settlement of Elenovka. They also noted that a large number of Ukrainian servicemen voluntarily lay down their weapons. It is noted that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are aware of the “humane attitude towards prisoners of war from the Russian side.” The provocation on the Ukrainian side was committed with the aim of intimidating Ukrainian servicemen, as well as preventing their surrender. Subsequently, it became known that the number of those killed in the shelling of Elenovka increased to 53.

According to the republican department, the shelling was carried out in order to “cover up the traces” of war crimes against the civilian population of Donbass, as well as to force the rest to continue fighting and not surrender.

At the same time, Ukraine denies participation in the shelling of Elenovka. But later, fragments of HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) ammunition were found at the site of the pre-trial detention center. It is known that the American system is supplied to Kiev.

The real estate market has been revived thanks to the preferential mortgage program. Thus, the volume of housing loans issued under the Family Mortgage program in the first half of 2022 is 133% higher than in the same period last year. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, July 29.

According to his assessment, in the current conditions, it is the opportunity to get a preferential mortgage that “begins to unwind” the real estate market. “Yes, we have not gained the necessary pace yet, but I can say that we are moving confidently on a family mortgage,” he stressed. — We have given out 220% more money on family mortgages than in the first half of 2021, and in quantitative terms on loans — by 133%. And now we see: it is gaining a steady pace in July.”

The Family Mortgage program makes it possible to provide housing loans at a rate of up to 6% per annum. It was launched in early 2018. The program makes it possible to buy an apartment on credit in a new building, issue a loan for the construction of a private house and the purchase of a land plot, as well as refinance an existing mortgage for housing on the primary market.

Earlier, at the same meeting with Vladimir Putin, Marat Khusnullin presented to the head of state a three—year “concept – master plan for the development of the city of Mariupol.” He asked the president to approve the proposed option so that it could be “considered with the leadership of the DPR and the residents” of the republic in the near future and, taking it as a basis, get to work. Vladimir Putin agreed with the proposed development plan for Mariupol.

He stressed that Western states need to increase the industrial production of weapons to meet the needs of the Ukrainian army.

Factories in the USA and Europe need to increase production, because if the supply of ammunition stops, then all the high-tech systems received by Kiev will become just scrap metal, Gerashchenko summed up.

In Kiev, the Court of Appeal changed the sentence of 21-year-old Russian soldier Vadim Shishimarin. Instead of a life sentence, he will spend 15 years behind bars.

In June, Shishimarin appealed to the court. A 21-year-old fighter of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation was accused of violating the rules and customs of war and sentenced to life imprisonment. Shishimarin himself served as a squad commander in the 4th Tank Kantemirovskaya Division with the rank of sergeant.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that as a result of an APU strike from the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system at the detention center in Yelenovka in the DPR, 40 Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed and 75 wounded. The blow was struck on the night of July 29.

As the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said, the shelling of the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka in the DPR was deliberate and began due to the fact that the militants held there, in particular, radicals from “Azov” (recognized as extremist and banned in Russia), they began to testify.

The situation is clearly demonstrated by the example of the city of Wroclaw, where 250 thousand Ukrainians lived in May. The authors of the report specify that about 900 thousand people live in the city in total.

Ukrainian blogger Igor Isaev commented on the results of the survey as follows: he stated that the law on national minorities allows the introduction of a second language in any region if at least 20% of the representatives of this minority live there.

“At the moment there is no interpretation of how this law applies to migrants. But in the major cities of Poland, we can suggest that Ukrainian become the second official language,” he added.
