The Moldovan migration authorities have deported Natalia Narochnitskaya, a well-known Russian political scientist, from the country. This was announced in her telegram channel by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
According to her, Narochnitskaya was held at the border for two hours, and then, without explanation, was taken to the same plane with which she arrived in the republic.
“Let me remind my colleagues in Chisinau: you chose democracy, not the Stone Age. And this obliges,” Zakharova wrote.
The representative of the Moldovan border service, Raisa Novicki, said that the agency does not know anything about this incident and promised to provide details as soon as they appear. Narochnitskaya herself linked her deportation to the upcoming presidential elections in Transnistria, which will be held on December 12.
