Politico magazine suggested on its pages that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, could have tried to prevent the summit of the leaders of Russia and Germany, Vladimir Putin and Angela Merkel. Allegedly, for this purpose, he called the German Chancellor during negotiations in Moscow.
Indeed, during Vladimir Putin’s welcoming speech, a call suddenly rang on Chancellor Merkel’s mobile phone. Taking out the phone, she declined the call.
“Zelensky could have tried to undermine Angela Merkel’s chances of success in negotiations with his sworn enemy Vladimir Putin,” the newspaper writes.
