Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was attacked in the center of Kiev. According to eyewitnesses, the politician was doused with green paint near the Khreshchatyk metro station when he was accompanied by his wife and colleagues on his way to the Cabinet of Ministers.
As follows from the published footage, Poroshenko was not seriously injured, most of his face was covered by an antiviral mask from the caustic liquid. The former first lady was also not injured.
After the attack, Poroshenko was surrounded by police and military, put in a car and taken away.
