The Kremlin’s press service reported that during a telephone conversation, US President Joe Biden informed Russian President Vladimir Putin that America does not plan to deploy offensive strike forces on the territory of Ukraine.
“The head of the White House stressed that Washington has no intentions of deploying offensive strike weapons in Ukraine,” the report says.
Earlier it was reported that Joe Biden had a 50-minute telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. The American leader pointed to the dichotomy of further relations between the countries.
Among other things, Biden voiced a version of both a possible de-escalation of tensions through diplomacy and sanctions against the Russian Federation.
