Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to the words of the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrel, who earlier made a statement about the alleged “fascist Russia”.
During his speech at the WEF, the Russian leader noted that Borrel “just grinds his tongue”. According to Putin, this man is a great specialist in this area. “God is his judge,” the President of the Russian Federation pointed out.
In addition, Putin concluded that Borrel in the 1930s would certainly have been on the side of the fascists in Spain, since in modern times he supports the putschists in Ukraine. As a result, the Russian leader noted that if Borrel has “at least a drop of conscience”, then he should draw the right conclusions and understand that real Nazism is flourishing in Ukraine.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova commented on the words of the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrel about the Russian Federation. She called them “disgusting”.According to her, Borrel has repeatedly uttered statements that do not correspond to his position as head of diplomacy. The speaker of the Russian Foreign Ministry pointed out that Borrel is a Spaniard and that “we understand the difficult history of Spain in the XX century”.
