Released DPR fighter: Ukrainian MP told prisoners that Kiev needs victory instead of peace

A member of the delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, who came to the prisoner of war camp “West-1”, said to his prisoners that Kiev does not need peace. Vladislav Egilnitsky, who returned from captivity of the DPR, told about this.

According to him, the Ukrainian parliamentarian tried to communicate with the prisoners and asked: “What do you want?”In turn, the Russian prisoners, according to the man’s version, replied: “Peace.” In response, the legislator assured them that “we don’t need peace, we need victory.” As Egilnitsky noted, the prisoners were very surprised at such a “strange attitude” at that time, they do not want peace in a state of war.

The prisoner of war added that it was a deputy from the Kharkiv region.

Recall that Russia launched a special military operation on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin, during his speech at the forum “Valdai”, noted that Western hegemons will actually have to reckon with Russia.
