At least ten ships of the Naval Forces of the People’s Liberation Army of China (PLA) during military exercises temporarily crossed the so-called middle line of the Taiwan Strait, Reuters writes, citing Taiwanese sources.
At the same time, according to Taiwanese sources of the publication, several aircraft of the Air Force of the Chinese Army for some time also went beyond this line, which serves as a conditional boundary in the strait separating the island of Taiwan and the mainland of the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
At the same time, the Eastern Zone of the Chinese Combat Command conducted long-range artillery firing in the Taiwan Strait, the agency’s journalists shared details.
