Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that in the city of Zaporozhye, which is currently under the control of Ukraine, most local residents adhere to pro-Russian views. This is reported by the 360 TV channel.
According to him, residents are afraid to speak openly and admit to supporting the idea of the region becoming part of Russia.
“They understand perfectly well what will happen to them if they speak out. At the same time, in Zaporozhye, most people definitely adhere to our position and our views. However, now they are intimidated and won’t admit it,” Rogov said.
He clarified that those local residents who publicly admit to sympathizing with Russia are threatened with physical violence.
