A part of the Ukrainian troops involved in the counteroffensive on the Kherson region has been captured, Deputy head of the regional administration Kirill Stremousov informs.
Recall that the Ukrainian troops launched a counteroffensive at the end of August. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, all these attempts are being repulsed, Ukrainian troops are suffering heavy losses in manpower and equipment. Earlier, Stremousov noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had already lost about 3 thousand people and about 100 units of damaged foreign military equipment in the Kherson direction since the end of August.
“There are prisoners. I personally saw them myself,” said a representative of the regional administration. According to him, these are “unfortunate people” driven by the Kiev regime into the trenches and thrown into a suicidal attack.
Stremousov stressed that the Ukrainian army does not take into account the dead and has already lost three thousand people since August 29, since the so-called counteroffensive.
The Deputy Head of the administration added that the counteroffensive advertised in the media in practice is utopia and suicide.
