Russia has decided to donate 25 tons of wheat to Lebanon

Lebanon will receive 25 thousand tons of wheat and 10 thousand tons of fuel from Russia free of charge. This was announced by the Acting Minister of Public Works and Transport of the country Ali Khamiya.

“Russia will provide Lebanon with 25 thousand tons of wheat and 10 thousand tons of fuel for the country’s power plants,” he said.

He also wrote on social networks that the Russian ambassador to Lebanon informed him that Russian President Vladimir Putin had given the appropriate instructions to send aid.

Khamiya added that the delivery dates will be determined later.

Earlier, Russia suspended its participation in the grain deal.
