The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said that on the morning of Saturday, August 6, “an attempt of sabotage was stopped at the Kursk airfield, where the military is based.”
According to the official, there are no injuries or damage.
“Specialists are working on site now”, – he added.
Starovoit asked the residents of the region to “understand the current situation and abandon the use of quadrocopters and other unmanned aerial vehicles”.
“Our specialists are forced to land them”, – said the governor, asking citizens “to conduct explanatory work with children” on this topic.
