During a speech to the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the candidate for the post of American ambassador to Russia, Lynn Tracy, stated the need to tighten sanctions against the Russian Federation.
She welcomed the work on setting a price ceiling for Russian energy resources, the establishment of which she called a way to reduce Russia’s income and reduce the “harmful influence that it spreads.”
“The right decision would be to keep the course for tougher sanctions,” Tracy added.
