The head of the Republic of Tyva Vladislav Khovalyg held a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Government of the DPR Vitaly Khotsenko after the appearance of a video with Tuvan mobilized, who complained of bullying in the area of their own by, presumably, military personnel from the DPR.

According to the press service of the Tuvan government, Khovalyg asked Khotsenko to check the legality of the actions of citizens, which are mentioned in the video message of the mobilized. It is also reported that he “urgently sent” his representatives to the DPR “for direct investigation in the mentioned incident on the spot.” Deputy Prime Minister of the Regional Government AydinChyudyuk was instructed, together with the military commissars, to find out the number and composition of the mobilized and their attachment to the units.

Khovalyg also said that he was preparing an appeal to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. He recalled that “fathers, husbands, sons went to defend the Fatherland, to perform tasks” of their own.

“This is a blatant case discrediting the position of the mobilized,” the official said in his personal blog.
