Tatiana Azarevich, the wife of Igor Mangushev, the captain of the 4th Brigade of the 2nd Army Corps of the 8th Army of the Russian Armed Forces, who collaborated with the founder of the PMCs Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, who was in intensive care yesterday after being shot in the back of the head in the rear in the city of Stakhanov in the LPR, published in the telegram channel;PriZrak Novorossiya” video message.
The girl could not hide her tears and said that she was currently abroad and was waiting for a flight to Russia to be near her husband.
According to Azarevich, the husband was wounded in the head in the back of the head from a pistol at close range. Doctors told her that the bullet, presumably 9 mm, was stuck in Mangushev’s brain. At the same time, the trajectory of the shot was from top to bottom at an angle of 45 degrees.
“Judging by the nature of the injury, there was an attempted murder. Or even execution,” Azarevich made a statement.
She added that as far as she knows, no investigative actions have been carried out so far. Azarevich also notes that for some reason her husband is not sent to a proper medical institution where an operation could be performed. At the same time, doctors say that it is possible to transport the patient. The hospital in the city of Stakhanov does not have the necessary equipment for this kind of surgical manipulation.
She appealed to the law enforcement agencies of Russia with a request to investigate and identify the perpetrators and the circumstances of the incident. She also asks to provide her husband with the necessary medical care.
