Former US leader Donald Trump claims that Russia is “re-entering” Afghanistan. He said this at a rally in Alabama.
According to him, the collapse of the Soviet Union is connected with the events in Afghanistan, as Moscow allegedly went bankrupt by spending money on this country.
” Ask Russia, ..they went bankrupt after spending many years and money and did not win in Afghanistan. I heard that now they are coming back, ” the Republican said.
At the same time, Trump stressed that the United States will have to return to Afghanistan when “the time is right.”
