The speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin blamed Ukraine and the United States for the strike in Yelenovka, where dozens of captured Ukrainian soldiers were killed.
“President Zelensky and Washington are behind the missile strike on the pre-trial detention center in Yelenovka,” Volodin writes in his telegram channel.
In his opinion, “this was done for one purpose” – to “prevent a new Nuremberg trial,” and now “Washington and Kiev are removing witnesses to their crimes against humanity.” Volodin expressed confidence that “confessions of their atrocities by nationalists” would inevitably lead to demands for criminal responsibility for the heads of NATO countries.
