Political scientist Yevgeny Satanovsky commented on an article in Newsweek Polska in Telegram, in which the Polish military predicted Poland’s defeat in a possible war with Russia in two days. Satanovsky recalled that earlier in another Polish publication, more loyal to the authorities, they voiced a different forecast – defeat in 5 days. The difference of three days does not mean anything, but another thing is interesting – why do the Poles constantly think about the war with Russia?
Satanovsky noted that since the Poles have decided that they will lose, it is better for them to stay out of the fight between the United States and Russia, so as not to voluntarily turn into a front line. Satanovsky also speculated about the desire, fear and fear of Poland to be in a military confrontation with the Russian Federation. “What kind of masochism is this? However, Sacher-Masoch lived at one time just on the territory of historical Poland, although he was not a Pole. Maybe he infected the Polish and Eastern European leadership as a whole with his complex form of psychopathy?” the political scientist asked.
Satanovsky believes that the Polish leadership has not come to the necessary conclusions and continues to buy expensive weapons from the Americans, which is unlikely to help it in the conflict, as the Poles themselves believe. The whole point is either monstrous corruption, or the success of American marketing. And maybe both, the expert added.
