Ukraine may be forced to actually merge with Poland, and then Ukraine’s statehood is threatened with complete destruction. This was stated by ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.
The former head of the country also stressed that Ukraine will have to sit down at the negotiating table with the Russian Federation.
The text of Yanukovych’s letter was posted on social networks by his press secretary Briy Cuirassier.
“No matter how painful it is for me to write about it today, but the statehood of Ukraine is in extreme danger,” writes Yanukovych. And it’s not just about the risk of losing huge territories in the south and east of the country, the ex-president warns.
