In a video statement at the session Zelensky presented the “formula of peace” to the UN General Assembly. In his opinion, it consists of five points.
The President of Ukraine believes that these are: punishment, protection of life, restoration and guarantee of security and determination.
Zelensky pointed out the universality of the formula and that it would suit not only Ukraine, but also everyone “who may find themselves in a similar situation.”
“This is a formula that assumes punishment for a crime, assumes protection of life, restoration of security and territorial integrity, guarantees security and assumes determination,” Zelensky explained.
