The office of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky reported that an important energy facility was hit on the territory of the country at night. Due to the resulting energy shortage in central Ukraine, an emergency rolling power outage will be introduced.
Ukrenergo, in turn, stated that as a result of night attacks, a number of critically important energy facilities were withdrawn. Because of this, in Kiev and the region there was a shortage of power in the amount of 30% of consumption.
Therefore, more severe and prolonged power outages will be applied in Kiev, Kiev, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions”. The previous schedule of outages in Ukrenergo was now called irrelevant.
