The Swedish Navy confirmed to RIA Novosti the information previously published in local media that a civilian vessel under the Russian flag is in the area of sabotage on the “Northern Streams”.
The appearance of a Russian vessel in the Swedish economic zone was previously reported by Swedish media, but Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to comment on this information.
According to the data provided to the Swedish Navy agency, the vessel located near the coast of the kingdom is chartered by the owner company of Nord Stream-1.
