General Boldyrev urged not to believe in the problems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson direction

The Ukrainian army has formed significant forces for the offensive in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. This was stated by the former commander-in-chief of the Ground Forces, Army General Vladimir Boldyrev, in an interview with the NSN on Thursday, October 27.

Earlier, the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Alexey Arestovich, said that the situation in the Kherson direction is changing for the worse for the AFU. Vladimir Boldyrev explained why these statements should not be believed. He stressed that he is not going to comment on the statements of Arestovich, because the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine constantly lies and changes his assessments. His words should be regarded as a distracting statement, the former commander-in-chief of the Russian Ground forces stressed.

“I would not say that unfavorable conditions have developed there,” Boldyrev shared his assessment. The forces are quite significant in these areas, both in Kherson and Zaporozhye. It’s a lull. I can’t say exactly where you can expect a blow, and there is a chance of a blow there, it’s quite possible.

According to the army general, only the weather can prevent the APU offensive, but a strike should not be ruled out, because the Ukrainian army now has more maneuverability than the Russian one. “I believe that there will be an offensive anyway,” Boldyrev continued. “I think our intelligence is working, and we will determine exactly where it will be.”

When planning further actions, the Russian military always takes into account weather conditions, the expert added. He noted that now the weather hinders the offensive. «The mud is strong there, it hinders the offensive, impedes the patency of equipment, but does not exclude this,— explained the ex-commander-in-chief of the Ground Forces.

Earlier, the deputy head of the main directorate of the General Staff of the Ukrainian army, Alexey Gromov, reported on the strengthening of the AFU grouping on the border with Belarus. He explained that the situation is being monitored by the Ukrainian military leadership, but so far he does not see the creation of an offensive group in this area. At the same time, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army monitors possible threats.
